Barnstable, Cape Cod Beaches

Craigville Beach

Rainbow as seen at Craigville Beach.

Craigville Beach, located on the Nantucket Sound, is one of the most popular and biggest beaches on Cape Cod. There are lifeguards on duty and there are public restrooms at the beach. And in case you need a snack, there are a couple of food shacks located across the street.

Craigville Beach is located just over half a mile away from the Long Dell.

So grab one of our backpack beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a towel and take a walk to the beach! From Craigville Beach you can walk along Long Beach Peninsula which follows the Centerville River until it reaches the Nantucket Sound at East Bay. Walk on the Sound or the River side and admire the beautiful homes that line the Centerville River.
