– Travelers who have received a negative COVID-19 result on a test administered not more than 72 hours prior to their arrival in Massachusetts. Travelers may also test out of the quarantine advisory after arrival in Massachusetts, as long as they quarantine until receiving a negative test result.
– Anyone who is entering Massachusetts for fewer than 24 hours
– Anyone who is returning to Massachusetts after being out of the State for fewer than 24 hours
– Workers who enter Massachusetts to perform critical infrastructure functions (as specified by the Federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) during required commuting to or from work and while at work.
– Travelers who are fully vaccinated (i.e. who have received two doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines OR who have received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 14 days or more ago) and who do not have symptoms.
All travelers are encouraged to consult and follow the CDC’s guidelines and requirements for travel.
Please review the Travel Advisory in detail (https://www.mass.gov/info-
Persons Who Have Been Completely Vaccinated for COVID-19
COVID-19 vaccinated individuals arriving in Massachusetts must have documentation of their vaccination(s), including the date(s) of administration, if asked. This exception does not include vaccinated individuals who have symptoms of COVID-19, who must follow all testing and quarantine guidance outlined in the travel rules
Please Wear a Face Mask / Covering
Effective 30 April 2021, per state guidance, and for everyone’s safety, a face mask must be worn in the Main House when outside of your room; and and on the Long Dell Inn grounds when it is not possible to socially distance. If you are having breakfast inside, masks can be removed for eating and drinking. We want to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Don’t have a mask? No problem! Call us ahead of time and we’ll bring one to the door for you.
Practice Social Distancing
Please remember to stay a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from other guests. Let’s all be as safe as possible. We want to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and safe while staying at the inn.
Cleaning of the Inn
The Long Dell Inn will be clean, safe and secure. The common areas and the guest rooms & bathrooms will be thoroughly cleaned by our wonderful cleaning staff with high grade cleaning products that adhere to CDC guidelines. For your safety and piece of mind, hand sanitizer will be available in each guest room and in the Main House of the Inn.
We have always taken the cleanliness of the Inn very serious. In fact, we recently received our AAA Best of Housekeeping designation. According to AAA, the “Best of Housekeeping” designation is exclusively awarded to lodging properties that “significantly surpass expectations, as measured during a comprehensive, on-site inspection.” In order to meet the stringent criteria for the award, these properties must demonstrate housekeeping excellence by receiving the highest possible cleanliness and condition scores for two consecutive inspections, as well as be entirely free of AAA member complaints.
What to expect upon arrival
For check-ins, we will greet you with a mask on and, from a socially distant space, we will guide you to your room. If you need help with your bags, we will gladly assist while wearing gloves. Your sanitized key(s) will be in your room.
Breakfast will be a bit different than what we have done in the past. We can accommodate one to three tables inside, and weather permitting, some outdoor seating as well. If you prefer, we can prepare a “to-go” breakfast which can be eaten on your deck (if applicable), or taken off premises like the beach.
We usually have our staff clean your room every day. To ensure your safety and the safety of our cleaning staff, we will not enter rooms to perform daily cleaning. However, unless instructed otherwise, they will enter the room to remove any garbage and to exchange towels if needed. If there is anything else that you need during your stay, please let us know and we will assist you.
If after you arrive, and you think you require COVID-19 testing, please click here to review COVID Testing information on the Barnstable Country Department of Health and Environment’s website for more information.
